Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and activist for animal rights. Ali MacGraw is known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. In New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. After working as an assistant to photographers She turned her focus towards modeling and acting. The first two films she made were noticed, and she was awarded recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major success and earned her international fame as well as several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the world after only three movies. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television series The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
