Zoe-perry

Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). She made her first appearances on television as Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne. Perry was forbidden to begin acting by her parents until an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the anxiety it could result in. Perry stated that she was too nervous to be an actor in high school but began performing at Northwestern University as a way to meet new people after she transferred to the university from Boston University. Perry was a graduate of Boston University moved into New York in search of acting roles on television. Perry was able to land small roles on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness drove her to California in search of theater jobs. The Other Place was performed by her and her mom on Broadway in 2013. In 2015, she performed with her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's crime thriller The Family. In 2017, Perry had a minor role on ABC's thriller about politics Scandal in which her father was the main character. She also played the young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon, an CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The role was given an audition to the actress, despite the fact that she is a relative with the role.
