Ina Garten, an American writer of cookery cookbooks and Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina was employed for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies as well as the budget. While she found it interesting initially, she eventually dropped interest and purchased a small specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to make her shop wildly successful, before she sold the store. Then she began writing one of her cookbooks. Numerous other cookbooks and magazine columns came later. The Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. In addition, she sells all kinds of cooking equipment, supplies and containers. Ina did not go to any cookery schools nor worked in a dining establishment. Ina is a self-taught cook. Ina is well-known for her effortless style of entertainment as well as her simple food preparation. Her most well-known dishes include Skillet with roasted lemon chicken and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac & cheese.
