Pickler born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, experienced an extremely difficult childhood. In order to leave an abusive partner, Pickler's mother left when she was barely 2 years older. Pickler was reunited with her mother in her life by 1995. They took the care of Pickler. But it didn't go as planned. Pickler returned to her parents when she was 12 years old. They helped them through adulthood. Pickler needed to look after of her siblings without her parents. Pickler admitted that she was no longer able to read and began learning how to become a housekeeper from a very young age. Pickler was a cheerleader in the middle and high school she attended. North Stanly High School, where she was a graduate in 2004, was her alma mater. Pickler has also been a beauty contestant. The title was Miss Stanly Country.
