Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also coaches and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first woman to ever win twice in CrossFit Games. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media celebrity. She was the first woman winner of in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. In 2013 and 2017, she won the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland with her siblings and parents. From a very young childhood, Annie was a fervent sports enthusiast and loved doing exercises. She was awarded numerous medals at school events. The first time she participated was time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed well. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years of age (as at 2021). She's 5' 7" tall, and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit training in California in the year 2009. She was successful in her first games, finishing with the top 10. She did not take home a championship and concluded the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. That same year, with Jami's direction, she was awarded the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. It was her first time as a woman ever to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie again won her first CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman athlete who has won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal that was silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is currently a coach as well as a trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face of various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae.
