Biles first rose to prominence in 2013, winning two gold medals at the World Championships as well as the all-around championship at just 16 years old. The four more Worlds medals followed in 2014 and in 2015. Rio 2016 marked Biles' debut Olympics. In the year before, Biles already had become an Olympian of the moment. Biles did not disappoint. She took gold for Team events, the vault, the floor as well as the all-around. She also won bronze for the beam. The basis of her power is in her success with gymnastics basics. Her supremacy is founded upon a deep understanding of the fundamentals of gymnastics: a tiny 4 foot 8 frame, incredible physical strength and agility and a low center of gravity, she was designed to be the ultimate gymnast.
