Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and music producer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". Although she's a singer however, her passion for music. Music has always been her first love. As she grew to 12 years old, her music began to take on a serious nature and she began to train professionally. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded the album with music covers when she was fourteen. Since then she's never looked back. Orrantia was born in America, but has Hispanic roots. Although she never lived or was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic roots. By learning Spanish and writing songs, she tries to preserve the tradition. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song which she recorded is a good instance. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia got selected out of a YouTube video submission and received the judges' four "yes" vote from the judge during the live audition phase held in Seattle, Washington. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she and three female singers were put together for the remaining auditions of "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
